We have been coming to Tex's Star Grill for years, this is definitely a favorite restaurant in the area. My personal favorite food here is the chicken fried chicken. Not only is the taste delicious, but the portions are amazing for the money. You will get a chicken fried chicken that is over half of a plate. I love getting the fries as my side to use the spicy house sauce. You also get toast and a side salad. Those working are very nice and they keep the restaurant very clean. You will probably also see the owner here, he is always working.

One of our favorite go to places for burgers. My sponsor is attracted because of the Spicy Home sauce. I like the burgers but my favorite is the Ruben combo. Today my sponsor maintained her #2 Combo 1/3 Chzburger. I was trying to decide between a hamburger and a Ruben. The owner had a special listed as #13 Goldenburger. It is a burger overlaid with pastrami. Hence my solution to making a decision. We had a delicious meal and enjoyed the great service and clean atmosphere.

This place is amazing! The food was fresh tasted fresh and the sweet tea also hit the spot. We also had the gyro and I would say top 5 gyro of all time that I have had. This is a must stop in and try if you are in the area.

First time here with a friend, my buddy Gary recommended it. It's family owned with a Chicago background and there are several different options to choose from! We both had the flame grilled burgers with special sauce and fries. It hit the spot and I liked the spicy sauce better than the regular sauce. I want to make another trip soon to try a hot dog or polish style.. We definitely were satisfied and happy when we left.

We can't give this place enough stars! Fantastic food! Don't let the exterior or name fool you. The food pictures don't do justice. George is a Greek man from Chicago that has lived in Texas a couple decades...and the food reflects it all. The Gyro is some of the best meat we have had. That's right, great gyros from a place with "Tex" in the name. We took the owners suggestion and got the Golden Burger that is piled with fresh pastrami. Amazing blend of flavors. My mouth wanted more. We highly recommend Tex's Star Grill. No matter your food-mood the fresh, made to order delights will appease your appetite and excite your taste buds.

Absolutely love this little restaurant, it is one of these places where you can tell it's a Mom and Pops place which means it's going to be good and authentic. Now they have some many options you want hot dogs they got it sausages check that burgers check you craving some Greek? They got that too! So many options and everything I have tried has been delicious! I am partial to hamburgers though (I'm fairly picky) but man those burgers are so dang good, or their grilled chicken sandwich Yummy. If you don't know it's hard getting a grilled chicken breast sandwich that's not slightly dried out but I have always found theirs moist and juicy with great flavors. My husband well he likes more the Patty Melt or the Maxwell Polish (sausage with grilled onions on a hoagie) those grilled onions oh they smell good. The staff has always been super polite and has always answered any question we have had a they come make sure your experience is good and the everything is alright. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants to go to for an awesome burger or chicken sandwich!
